Professional Indemnity policy covers legal liability towards Third Party Property Damage and Third Party Death/Bodily Injury resulting from an alleged neglect, error or omission in the professional services rendered. It is not uncommon for professionals like Consultants, Architects, Doctors, Surveyors etc., to be dragged into the courts for alleged negligence, errors and/or omissions in the course of discharging professional duties.
 

This cover will provide indemnity against legal liability for negligent acts, errors, and breach of duty or omission arising out of course of professional activities. Costs and expenses incurred are also covered.

All parties involved in any way in the construction may be insured:

• Contractors

• Firms commissioned to carry out the work, including subcontractors

• The purchaser or owner

• Parties financing the project.

Extensions on this cover are available for libel & slander, loss of documents and dishonest acts of employees.
